1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of LocalMapz ("the Service"), operated by Ariel Yaakov, based in Italy. By creating an account or using LocalMapz in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LocalMapz is a business discovery tool that allows users to search for local businesses on an interactive map. The Service aggregates data from third-party APIs including Google Places, TomTom, Geoapify, and OpenStreetMap to provide information about businesses in a given area.

LocalMapz is intended to help users identify potential business contacts, particularly those that may not have an online presence. The Service is provided for informational and outreach purposes only.

3. User Accounts

To access LocalMapz, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

Providing accurate registration information
Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Token System

Access to search features requires tokens, which are purchased separately. Tokens are a one-time purchase and do not expire. Token costs per operation:

Standard search: 1 token
Deep scan: 5 tokens
Country search: 3 tokens
Country deep scan: 8 tokens

Tokens are deducted from your balance at the time of the search. Token balances are associated with your account and are non-transferable.

5. Refund Policy

Unused tokens may be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Tokens that have been used for searches are non-refundable. For partial refunds (where some tokens have been used), we will refund the value of the unused portion only. To request a refund, contact us at chuchu.yaakov@gmail.com with your order details.

6. Acceptable Use

By using LocalMapz, you agree not to:

Scrape, copy, or redistribute data obtained through the Service in bulk
Resell data or access to the Service to third parties
Use the Service to harass, spam, or contact businesses in violation of applicable laws
Attempt to circumvent usage limits, authentication, or billing systems
Use automated tools to query the Service beyond normal personal use
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

Use of the Service is for personal and small-business outreach purposes only. Commercial data resale is strictly prohibited.

7. Data Sources

LocalMapz aggregates business data from the following third-party providers:

Google Places API — subject to Google's Terms of Service
TomTom — subject to TomTom's Terms
Geoapify — subject to Geoapify's Terms
OpenStreetMap — data available under the ODbL License

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of business data returned by the Service. Business information may be outdated or incorrect.

8. Privacy

We collect your email address, hashed password, and search history to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LocalMapz and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for tokens in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have rights under your local consumer protection laws.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
